An October Full of Thrills and Chills
TAKE A HIKE — Enjoy the cooling temperatures with a guided hike through Fernbank Forest. There are two evening hikes on Oct. 3 and Oct. 23, and a morning hike on Oct. 13.
DISCOVER FUN DAYS — We will be having two Discovery Days this month. On Oct. 19, join us in celebrating the opening of our newest exhibit with Armored Animals Day. Then, on Oct. 26, get your costumes ready for our annual Dinosaur Trick-or-Treat event.
TOUGH AS NAILS — Suit up for Fernbank’s newest exhibit, Armored Animals. Go on an immersive tour through the last 500 million years and learn how animals are connected through their armor use. Then, when you’re looking for more to do, check out these options around Atlanta.
