We LOVE Our Volunteers!

Volunteers are an essential part of Fernbank Museum. They greet guests as they come through the doors, help restore our 65-acre old-growth forest, and lead hands-on educational activities throughout the museum. In 2024, 120 teens and 280 adults volunteered their time and talents, contributing 16,000 hours to improving the experience for the guests who visited Fernbank Museum. 

We celebrate our amazing volunteers each year during Volunteer Appreciation Week (April 20-26, 2025). This year, we wanted to highlight some special people who make it all possible!
