Spring Educator Appreciation Day

Calling all teachers! Fernbank wants to show our appreciation with a free visit to Fernbank for you and a guest. Enjoy a self-guided museum tour including X-Ray Vision: Fish Inside Out, meet a member of the Fernbank field trip team to learn more about field trip opportunities and catch a film in the Giant Screen Theater.
Field Trip Information | 11 a.m. — 1 p.m., 1st Floor
Meet a member of Fernbank’s Field Trip Team and learn about 2025-26 field trip offerings, including immersive field trip programs. Giveaways are available while supplies last.
Museum Explorations | 10 a.m. — 5 p.m.
Enjoy access to all indoor and outdoor museum experiences and exhibits including Fernbank Forest and WildWoods, which currently features the special exhibit Spirit Guides: Fantastical Creatures from the Workshop of Jacobo and María Ángeles.
Giant Screen Theater| 1st Floor
Travel to different places through a movie in the Giant Screen Theater. Desert Elephants and Coral Sea are shown on a first-come, first-served basis. Check out the showtimes before you visit.
Cost: This event is free for educators and 1 guest. ** Space is limited and advanced registration is required. Limit 2 complimentary tickets per educator. The deadline to register is May 15 at 11:59 p.m.
