Fernbank Museum offers a variety of internships that provide skills, training and hands-on professional work experience in a fun and energetic environment. All internships are unpaid and open to applicants enrolled in a degree-seeking program or who have recently graduated from a program in a field relevant to the internship. All interns must be 18 years of age at the start of their internship and must pass a background check.

Internship Schedule:
Most internships range from 10-25 hours per week. Hours and dates of internships generally follow the terms below but may be flexible on an individual basis as determined by the intern and staff adviser.
Spring Term (January 9 – April 30)
Summer Term (May 8 – August 1 or May 30 – August 31)
Fall Term (August 28 – December 20)
